Antrag: Umstellung der Straßenbeleuchtung in Reitmehring auf LED-Technik

Beantragt am 10. August 2022 - Behandlung im Bauausschuss am 8. September 2022 - Antrag unverändert beschlossen

Die Fraktion CSU/Wasserburger Block beantragt, mit den Bayernwerken in Kontakt zu treten und den Umbau der Reitmehringer Straßenbeleuchtung auf LED-Technik zu beauftragen. Bei der Gelegenheit können auch unübersichtliche, dunkle Stellen durch Aufstellen zusätzlicher Leuchten beseitigt werden. Die nötigen Mittel sind in den Haushalt 2023 einzustellen.

Sehr geehrter Herr Bürgermeister, sehr geehrte Damen und Herren des Stadtrats,
die Stadt Wasserburg hat in den vergangenen Jahren mit erheblichen Mitteln die vorhandene Straßenbeleuchtung auf moderne, energiesparende LED-Technik umgestellt. In Reitmehring wurde das bis dato noch nicht in Angriff genommen, weil hier die Anlagen nicht im Besitz der Stadt, sondern historisch bedingt im Eigentum der Bayernwerke sind. Vor diesem Hintergrund haben weder die Verwaltung noch der Stadtrat die zeitgemäße Umstellung in diesem Stadtteil diskutiert oder vorangetrieben.

Die Fraktion CSU/Wasserburger Block beantragt hiermit, mit den Bayernwerken in Kontakt zu treten und den Umbau der Reitmehringer Straßenbeleuchtung auf LED-Technik zu beauftragen. Bei der Gelegenheit können auch unübersichtliche, dunkle Stellen durch Aufstellen zusätzlicher Leuchten beseitigt werden. Die nötigen Mittel sind in den Haushalt 2023 einzustellen.  

Begründung: 

Die aktuellen Entwicklungen auf dem Energiemarkt und der Klimawandel zwingen die öffentliche Hand dazu, jede Möglichkeit zur Strom- und damit CO2-Einsparung auszuschöpfen. Bei der momentanen Entwicklung der Energiepreise dürften sich die Kosten für die Umstellung in kurzer Zeit amortisieren.
