Antrag der Stadtratsfraktion von CSU/Freie Wähler - Wasserburger Block: „Umbenennung Parkhäuser“ vom 1. Juli 2020

Beantragt am 11.07.2020 – im Haupt- und Finanzausschuss vom 29.09.2020 abgelehnt.

Unsere Absicht: Unsere schöne Altstadt in Wasserburg ist meist das Ziel unserer Gäste und Touristen. Insbesondere diesen ortsfremden Personen wollen wir durch eine klare Benennung der Parkhäuser Auskunft über Lage und Entfernung zur Altstadt geben. Wir erwarten dadurch eine Reduzierung des Parksuchverkehrs.

Sehr geehrter Herr Bürgermeister, sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

die Stadtratsfraktion von CSU und Freie Wähler - Wasserburger Block beantragt die Um- benennung der Parkhäuser wie folgt:

bisher „Parkhaus Überfuhrstraße“; neu „Parkhaus Altstadt West“
bisher „Parkhaus Kellerstraße“; neu: „Parkhaus Altstadt Ost“

Begründung:

Gäste und Touristen besuchen die Stadt Wasserburg in erster Linie wegen der Sehens- würdigkeiten in der Altstadt. Insbesondere diese ortsfremden Personen sind auf klare Kennzeichnung und Angaben angewiesen. Jedoch geben die bisherigen Bezeichnungen keinen Aufschluss über Lage und Entfernung zur Altstadt.

Diesem Umstand könnte durch die neuen Bezeichnungen entgegengetreten werden, da diese klar Auskunft über die Lage der Parkhäuser, nämlich in Nähe der Altstadt, geben. Wir erwarten dadurch eine Reduzierung des Parksuchverkehrs, insbesondere in der Altstadt.
